Race Predictor

Predict your race pace based on heart rate and distance

How it works: Your running pace is shaped by two main factors—how far you're going and how hard you're working (measured by heart rate). This tool analyzes your past runs to find the relationship between distance, effort, and pace.

Longer distances typically mean slower paces. Higher heart rates usually mean faster paces (you're pushing harder). By modeling this relationship from your own data, we can predict what pace you'd likely hold for a given race distance at a target heart rate.

Of course, causality goes both ways—does a higher heart rate cause faster running, or does faster running cause a higher heart rate? Probably both. But for prediction purposes, knowing your target effort level helps estimate your sustainable pace.
